Dub Lincs

Edition38 has fast become the UK premier dub show. So, it would have been rude for us to have not have made the short trim down to Overstone Park and camp for the weekend. We had a fantastic time, some of the best cars from the UK and Europe made it, and the weather also played its part! Definately a show we shall be attending in force with a club stand again in 2007. This show had looked like one of the best Euro shows on the Diary, add that with a nice convoy down, what more could we want. How we all made it to belgium I will never know. The rain didnt help, but we made the best of it, plenty of BBQ's and beer helped the nights pass away. The sun came out, and the show days were full of top dubs, great weekend all around. I was lucky to be on the "30th Anniversairy" of the Golf GTI club stand. After a very early start, i arrived before most had got there, and the day just filled up of air cooled, water cooled, Porsches and various other VAG motors. This has to be one of the best one day shows i have ever been to, with such a huge mix of cars in one area. Very laid back day, great concours section and more club stands then i have ever seen before. Definately a show thats not always top of a list, but one to enjoy and visit. To see more, click here.

The first time i had managed to get to an Edition38 show, and i was not dissapointed. Chilled back attitude and some of the best dubs around made for my favourite show of 2005! Various trade stands made sure that it was easy to spend the money. We didnt manage to make it to the dance tent, choosing to BBQ and party and wander and make some new friends the old drunken way! GTI International, an iconic UK show for many years. However, a few years bad press had seen other shows overtake Inters as "the ones" to go to! We made the trip over to Brentwater to find some top quality cars. We didnt last the full day as there just was not enough going on, and the sprint viewing area was very poor.
